We deliver interactive music-based sessions. Singing, music, discussion, cognitive exercise and seated activities used to stimulate and activate memory, whilst promoting overall. Led by Singing for the Brain leader, Kyle Newman, welcoming people affected by dementia, loneliness and isolation and anyone who feels they may benefit

At Harborough Culture Café we host talks about art, film, music, literature and performance. Our final speaker of the year will be telling us which of these we can use most easily to improve our wellbeing, and why it works - with scientifically proven benefits. Telling you who it is might give the game away though...

Our very first performer at Harborough Blues, the wonderful and entertaining Sunjay. Sunjay is the antithesis of your typical denim-clad dishevelled folk and blues musician. Perfectly groomed, he walks onto the stage every inch the "city slicker”. When Sunjay starts to sing and play the guitar however, you are transported to a world where blues and country music meld seamlessly amidst humid mangrove swamps and red neck barbecues. Sunjay will play two houses on 3rd December, this is the first.

You are cordially invited to join a Victorian gentleman who will guide you around the town and explain how the traditions of Christmas: the Christmas crib, Santa, Christmas cards, carols and crackers, have evolved to become an essential part of our seasonal festivities. This entertaining promenade will conclude at the illustrious establishment of Mr. Duncan Murray Esq. (Duncan Murray Wines) where for your delectation, mince pies,and a seasonal alcoholic beverage will be served.

The play follows Stanley Webber, a former piano player, who lodges with Meg and Petey in their seaside boarding house. This is targeted by two mysterious men, Goldberg and McCann.

Set in the mid-20th century, the play explores themes of identity, paranoia and the breakdown of reality as Stanley’s past and mental state are unravelled, ultimately leading to a chaotic Birthday party and his abduction.

Featuring six different types of saxophone, from the tony sopranino to the giant bass sax, Phoenix will be performing a variety of festive tunes along with pieces from their regular repertoire of light classical, pop, jazz and big band favourites. Tickets are £12 to include a glass of wine or soft drink. Profits will be split between Desborough Library and Phoenix Saxophone Orchestra, which are both registered charities.

A festive evening of Christmas carols and seasonal readings. The accomplished Harborough Singers under the baton of MD Charlie Penn are joined by a celebrity guest for an evening of Christmas cheer. This concert has been an annual sell-out fixture in the local calendar for more than 40 years. Previous guests have included Nicholas Parsons, Jemma Redgrave and Sam West.
