Busk!

At Creative Harborough, we’re passionate about making creativity accessible to everyone in our town — whether you love to perform or simply enjoy watching others shine.
One of our proudest achievements is the Busk! Project. With the generous support of Market Harborough and The Bowdens Charity, we’ve created a dedicated busking spot in the Undercroft, right beneath the Old Grammar School — the historic heart of our town.
Busking means “music, dance, street theatre, performance, or art offered live within designated areas in the town to entertain, interact with the public, and receive voluntary contributions.”
So whether you’re a solo performer, band, choir, theatre group, or spoken word artist, the Undercroft is your stage. You’ll have access to power, PPL PRS licensing is covered, and all you need to do is join our network and bring your creativity.
Want to Perform in The Undercroft?
Getting involved couldn’t be easier:
-
Check the Busk! Calendar to see what dates are available and keep a little flexibility in mind.
-
Read the Code of Conduct. We’re lucky to have the use of this fantastic space, and following the code helps us keep it available for everyone.
-
Fill in the application form and confirm that you agree to the Code of Conduct.
-
Send your form to Joe@creativeharborough.org. Joe will be in touch to get you booked in.

Finally, a friendly reminder: all buskers must read and follow our Code of Conduct. Failure to comply may result in losing the right to perform in the future.
Events at Market Hall and Market Square
