Great Bowden Recital Trust

GBRT is a music charity based in Market Harborough in Leicestershire. From community choirs and ensembles, to our Junior X Factor talent competition and massed choirs for primary school children, we aim to inspire, connect and share the joy of music and music-making with people of all ages in our local community. All surplus funds go into our grant programme which helps talented young people afford the cost of their singing and instrumental lessons.

GBRT encourages people of all ages to become involved in music regardless of their musical experience and background. We run five community choirs and ensembles for adults and young people with over 150 members who bring their enthusiasm and willingness to work as part of a team to every rehearsal. We don’t hold auditions and keep entry requirements as broad as possible.

Our choirs and ensembles include GBRT Carnival Drums, GBRT Community Choir, GBRT Community Orchestra, GBRT Flute Choir and GBRT Youth Singers. See our website for more information about joining.
