The Enterprise Club

A small group of Enterprising young people host drop-in, community crafting events at which they lead people in making simple , beautiful handicrafts. Especially suited for families as parents and grandparents can help their children after they learn the basics. We host events several times yearly at The Village on St Mary’s Rd, MH, on the last Thursday of the month between 5 and 8 pm. The staff from Dot and Dab Craft Shop also attend and offer crafting activities, especially jewellery-making. These Village evenings are always very calm, relaxing and fun, especially in the summer months when the Wood Oven Pizza Van is serving their fabulous slices and in the winter when there is delicious hot chocolate available.
The Enterprise Club young people also join forces with the Ukrainian community several times yearly at the Harborough Theatre for a Saturday Coffee Morning between 9 am and 1:30 pm. The Ukrainian ladies sell outstanding cakes and pastries and the Enterprise young people lead visitors in simple crafting on a pay-as-you-go basis. No need to book, just drop in. Another group of Enterprise kids sell secondhand Pokémon and football cards, miniature toy cars, jewellery and crafts.
