2026 Diary - Planning & Key Dates

To support your forward planning, we have compiled a list of key dates that we hope you will find helpful.

However, it is important to outline a few necessary caveats:

• As you know, Creative Harborough operates without any core funding, aside from occasional grants for specific projects. At present, we only have confirmed funding for the January–March leaflet issue. We are actively working to secure further funding, but are unable to make any guarantees at this stage.

• The Celebration leaflet earlier this year was produced at very short notice, as funding was only made possible following a generous donation from a benefactor in mid-August. Until that point, we had been planning to promote the Celebration via social media only.

• We will always endeavour to take advantage of promotional opportunities as they arise, but this requires some flexibility. The Council’s Small Business Saturday on 6 December is a recent example. Due to limited notice from the organisers, we were unable to give our members much advance warning of the leaflet copy.

With this in mind, we have created a plan in the hope that it will make things easier for us all. This overview gives advance notice of network meetings (venues and discussion topics to be confirmed nearer the time), event-entry deadlines for our quarterly leaflet, and planning for next September’s Celebration.

Please note that, in order to act in your best interests, some dates may change if new promotional opportunities arise.

2026 Network Meetings

Please save the dates. All meetings are at 7 pm.

• Tuesday 20 January – sharing ideas for the September Celebration

• Thursday 16 April

• Monday 6 July

• Wednesday 14 October

(Venues and themes will be confirmed nearer the time.)

Event Entry Deadlines for Leaflet Printing

To streamline our process and maximise accuracy, only events submitted via the Events page will be included in printed leaflets. Please include as much detail as possible when submitting.

Deadlines for 2026 leaflet editions:

• 15 March – for Q2 2026

• 14 June – for Q3 2026

• 2 August – Special edition for the September Celebration

• 13 September – for Q4 2026

• 7 December - for Q1 2027
