There's exciting news for the town centre. Market Harborough and the Bowdens Charity has submitted plans to turn 53 to 56 High Street, the Grade II listed building that was once home to Joules and County Jewellers, into The Town House, a community hub for Market Harborough, Great Bowden and Little Bowden.

The plans include an affordable café, meeting rooms of different sizes, a large hall for community activities and events, and shared office space for local charities and voluntary groups. The first stage would restore the building's frontage.

A space like this could make a real difference to the many groups that keep Harborough's creative and community life going. We're looking forward to seeing it take shape.

The Charity would like to hear what local people think. You can find out more, see the plans and fill in their short questionnaire on the Charity's website.
